Ironmouse PowerTrip
THE DOWNLOADABLE VERSION IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. The web version has a bunch of audio issues, weird loading freezes, AND SOME EFFECTS STRAIGHT UP WON'T RENDER ON THE WEB VERSION :(
The 1.1 Update patch notes can be found in-game in the pause menu and settings menu.
Developed by me and @Tekaion
If you finish the game and decide to try the Speedrun Mode afterwards, feel free to share an image of the end screen with your time in the comments!
In the Speedrun Mode, beat the game in under 8 minutes to unlock the Diamond Dormouse skin!
Controls:
You can use WASD OR Arrow Keys to move and jump. (WASD+SPACE IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED OVER ARROW KEYS)
Use ESC or P to pause the game, you have things like volume settings, how to play and credits there.
Spacebar to progress/skip dialogue. Spacebar will also let you use your abilities that you unlock as you progress. Right Ctrl also works, and you might prefer it if you are using Arrow Keys.
You can unlock additional skins for Mousey by playing and beating levels!
Controllers should technically work but I don't know how comfortable it is to play this game on a controller. We mainly tested it on Keyboard, and even then people who preferred arrow keys struggled a bit more. But if you suffer from physical impairments, you can download the game, add it to your Steam Library and use the steam controller support to map controls to whatever device you like.
Here's my speedrun of the game. It's not even close to perfect and it has already been beaten by others but still. [Spoilers. Although there is no story in Speedrun Mode, I recommend watching it after beating the game or giving it a genuine attempt]

Hi! The game looks and sounds great and is a lot of fun!
Here's some feedback!
- The slide and slide jumps feel super fun, great job on that! I loved the sequence where you have to chain them!
- It's a bit annoying to have to wait until mousey is falling to press space to stomp, would it be possible for it to work even when ascending? Alternatively it could still require her to be falling but work when you're holding space down instead of having to release and re-press it!
- The three consecutive stomp-jumps over one block of firewall are super challenging, they feel a bit out of place in terms of difficulty!
- The "starting line" for the first slide jump is too tight to comfortably set mousey up, and there is only one square's worth of room to do the jump, that's hard for a first slide jump challenge!
- The final slide jump gives very little room to work with and the controls make it a complex coordination challenge! (pressing up, releasing it, pressing space, pressing left but not too soon or too late, and pressing up again but not too late, phew!)
Overall fantastic work, I'm excited to see the rest of the game!
Thank you so much for the feedback. The level-design related changes are easy to make so we will make sure to keep those in mind. But we need to consider some other things regarding stomp before making changes to that. We intended stomping to be a little time consuming to encourage players to keep a slide instead of just refreshing them whenever. But we had other people say similar things so we are definitely considering it!
Again, thank you so much for taking your time to write such detailed comment!
